The truth is, at Dicksons we ensure that the same care and attention goes into our fresh and ready cooked sausages as any other of our delicious foods (image).

As family run Pork butchers for more than fifty years, we have built an enviable reputation for our wholesome and tasty sausages. Our recipes are unique, and a closely guarded family secret. We mix lean meat with subtle fresh seasonings in just the right proportions to make perfectly flavoured fillings. Spices are freshly prepared as we need them, and have been supplied to us by the same family firm in Yorkshire for the last forty years. Once we find a relationship that serves our customers so well we ensure that we keep it. And we have the same philosophy for all of our customers (images – people in shops). You only have to cook our sausages and the aroma and taste will have you returning time and again for more.

Our range includes traditional recipes such as: Cumberland, Linconshire, pork and garlic sausages. Pork and leek or pork onion and herb are very popular (images). Cooked to a family recipe which has been handed down through generations, this all time favourite has been enjoyed by countless numbers of northeast families and found favour with all ages
